A knitter since childhood, Johanna Ekström-Partanen discovered a whole new dimension to knitting a few years ago when she delved into the art of knitting pattern design and launched Auguste Knit. Johanna’s designs exude feminine elegance, characterised by carefully considered details and luxuriously soft yarn qualities. Living in central Helsinki with her family, Johanna finds inspiration for her knits in the coastal surroundings and historical layers of her hometown.
